Seeing your dog have a seizure is frightening, but three things matter most: stay calm, keep your dog safe, and arrange a veterinary check as soon as possible. Any seizure should be taken seriously and assessed by a vet.

This post briefly covers:

āœ”ļø Common signs of seizures in dogs

āœ”ļø Safe steps to take during and after a seizure

āœ”ļø When it is an EMERGENCY versus when to book an URGENT vet visit

If you think your dog has had a seizure, try to record a video, follow the steps in the slides, and contact your veterinarian promptly so we can advise on investigations and treatment.

ā€¼ļø Save & share this vet‑approved guide with fellow dog parents šŸ¾ā€¼ļøStaying prepared and seeking timely care can make all the difference for your dog’s health and safety.
