Knowing your petās body condition is the first step to keeping them healthy! An ideal weight isnāt āchubbyā or overweight ā it means having the right balance of fat and muscle.
ā Signs of a healthy body condition:
Ribs can be easily felt but not seen prominently
A visible waist when viewed from above
A slight tummy tuck behind the ribs
š Feeding for a healthy body condition:Keep your pet healthy by feeding the right amount. Start with the feeding guide on your pet food package ā it shows how much to feed based on your petās ideal weight. These are general guidelines, so adjust portions according to your petās age, activity level, and health. Use a measuring cup or scale to portion food accurately. Avoid overfeeding or underfeeding to support your petās wellbeing.
